The easiest way to overspend on a Corfu yacht charter is to compare headline rates rather than complete booking terms. A price may exclude fuel, a skipper, a longer route, harbour costs or a service you assumed came with the boat. That does not mean the provider is acting unfairly; it means the booking needs a clear itemized agreement.
This guide is an extra-fees audit, not a list of current Ninos Yachts prices. Use it before you pay a deposit, particularly when comparing quotes that sound similar but cover different boats or itineraries.
For the overall price picture, see our guide to how much a private yacht charter in Corfu costs.
Fuel pricing may be included for an agreed route, calculated after the trip, or billed under another arrangement. A long transfer to Paxos and Antipaxos may use more fuel than a nearby Corfu coastline cruise. Ask whether a detour or additional swimming stop changes the allowance, and whether the quote covers both the outbound and return legs.
Use precise language: “Does this total include all fuel for the exact route we are discussing?” A yes/no question about generic “fuel included” can still leave gaps.
Some bareboat-style offers are presented without a captain, while skippered day charters build the service into the rate. Ninos describes its private yacht charters as including a professional skipper for the agreed duration. Still ask whether a hostess or any additional crew member is included if that matters to your group.
The skipper also changes the type of experience: you are booking local route judgment and navigation, not simply paying someone to steer.
“Full day” is not a legally universal number of hours across every operator. Confirm the start time, end time, and what happens if you request one more stop or stay longer at a seaside taverna. Ask whether a late return creates an extra charge, and who must authorize itinerary changes.
A hotel pickup, taxi, tender or boat repositioning may not be included. A departure location that looks close on a map can still involve a long drive from your accommodation. Verify the boarding point and the cost of reaching it before deciding a charter is good value.

Do not assume the presence of a fridge means drinks are provided, or that a luxurious deck implies towels, snorkelling gear or catering are included. Ask about drinking water, ice, snacks, dietary needs, towels, masks, fins and any additional water-sports equipment. Special occasion decorations and premium drinks should be quoted separately if requested.
Some itineraries include a stop in a harbour; others remain at anchor and make no shore visit. Confirm whether applicable marina, mooring or tender fees are included. If you intend to eat ashore, factor in the restaurant cost independently of the charter unless the operator explicitly offers a package.
A deposit to reserve a yacht is different from a refundable security deposit against damage. Ask which type applies and when any refund is processed. The Ninos Yachts terms describe possible booking deposits and a general cancellation framework, but the precise terms of your private charter should be confirmed in writing. Weather-related changes also deserve their own explanation.
Suppose Offer A has a lower base rate but excludes fuel for an Antipaxos itinerary. Offer B includes the skipper and a defined fuel allowance but has a slightly higher headline figure. You cannot tell which is cheaper until the total route cost and each inclusion are written down. This is true even when both offers feature similarly sized yachts.
Before paying, confirm: vessel and passenger capacity; exact duration; departure point; full itinerary; skipper; route-specific fuel; fees; drinks and equipment; transfers; overtime policy; deposit type; cancellation rules; and the total payable amount. Save that summary with your confirmation.
You should know what you are buying without guessing. A complete quote does not need to be complicated, but it should be specific about the date, group size, yacht, duration, route and what is excluded. If the boat or route changes before the booking is confirmed, ask for a revised total instead of assuming the previous price still applies.
No universal inclusions apply. Request the exact beverage and catering provision for your chosen yacht.
It can, depending on the pricing arrangement. Agree any chargeable deviation with the operator before changing plans.
Not always. Confirm whether a payment is a booking installment or a separate security deposit.
Ask for a written total covering your proposed day. That is the fairest way to compare providers.
The goal is not to avoid every optional extra. It is to choose those extras deliberately. When contacting Ninos Yachts, request an itemized quote for your chosen date and group, with fuel, skipper and any requested services stated explicitly.
